Southern Colorado's own grabbed the spotlight
in the inaugural Colorado Classic football game Saturday night at Dutch Clark
Stadium. Quarterback Clint Buderus, who prepped at Florence High
School, ran for three touchdowns and threw for another to lead
Adams State College to a 28-10 victory over Western State in a Rocky Mountain Athletic
Conference clash. Buderus, a junior, ran for 78 yards on 13 carries and threw
for 139 more as the Grizzlies improved to 5-4 overall and 4-3 in the conference.
Western
State fell to 2-7 overall
and 1-5 in the RMAC.
