For more than 78 minutes Wednesday night at Dutch Clark Stadium, Centennial High School's boys soccer playoff life hung in the balance.
It wasn't supposed to be that difficult - especially in the first round - but the playoffs never are.
The unbeaten and untied Bulldogs, seeded fifth in the 32-team Class 4A state boys soccer field, were being pushed to the limit by 28th seed Ralston Valley of the Jefferson County League.
