Complete effort carries Bulldogs
Centennial stuns previously undefeated Fountain-Fort Carson in Pikes Peak.

For 3 quarters Saturday afternoon, Centennial High School played near-perfect football.
Although Fountain-Fort Carson made things interesting late, the Bulldogs rode their complete effort to a 21-14 Pikes Peak League win over the previously undefeated and Class 4A fifth-ranked Trojans at Dutch Clark Stadium.
It was a sweet homecoming win for Centennial (4-4 overall, 3-3 league), which was a decisive underdog entering the contest against Fountain (7-1, 6-1).
