This week end's games
The Colts (5-0 overall,
4-0 Foothills League) will attempt to do that again tonight at Cheyenne Mountain
(2-3, 1-3). South's practices have taken a turn this week as it prepares for the
Indians' single-wing offense. Fountain-Fort Carson at East, 7 p.m., Dutch Clark
Stadium - The Eagles have their work cut out for them against the undefeated
Trojans, one of the top running teams in Class 4A.Pueblo West at Pine Creek, 7
p.m., District 20 Stadium - In a matchup of 4-1 teams, the Cyclones could
establish themselves as a playoff contender with a win over the talented
Eagles.Pueblo County at Falcon, 7 p.m. - Flying high after a big-time win at
Florence, the Hornets will have to guard against a letdown game while facing an
improved Falcon team.South at Cheyenne Mountain, 7 p.m.Saturday's
gamesCentennial at Coronado, 7 p.m. - Playing in their third conference game on
the road, the Bulldogs are still looking to break into the win column in the
Pikes Peak League. n Sierra at Central, 7 p.m., Dutch Clark Stadium - The
Wildcats will try to get back on track after two consecutive losses while the
Stallions are going for their first league win.
