Bitterlich, who attends Pueblo West High School, is in her third season with the Central co-op gymnastics team.
A solid performer, she excels in floor exercise and also competes on bars and beam for the Wildcats. She also can compete as an all-arounder if needed.
"Trista's a solid performer who helps with the depth of the team," coach Kelly Downs said. "She's improved her floor routine this year. She's a strong tumbler with dance skills to go along with the tumbling."
Bitterlich competed at the Class 4A state meet as a freshman and sophomore, helping the Wildcats to a runner-up state finish last fall.
