College Football Returns to Pueblo Adam State Grizzlies VS. Western State Mountaineers

College football is back in Pueblo for the first time since 1984. Saturday, October 28, Pueblo will host the Adam State Grizzlies and Western State Mountaineers at Dutch Clark Stadium, 5pm-10pm. Alumni from both schools are encouraged to attend as is the public. So get your tailgate party on (don’t forget the weenies) and come out for this fifty-six year rivalry!

Tickets for the first ever Colorado Classic Football game, featuring Western State College against Adams State College at Pueblo’s Dutch Clark Stadium on Saturday, October 28, are on sale now at Pueblo-area Little Caesar’s Pizza Restaurants. Tickets are $5 each for ages six and up. Ages five years and under will be admitted free.Western State College and Adams State College, long-time rivals, have played every year since 1950 on their respective campuses. Western State holds a 37-22 lead in the all-time series. The Mountaineers had won 11 straight games from 1991-2001 although the Adams State Grizzlies have won the last four games, including a 42-0 shutout win in Gunnison last year.Don't miss the first College Football game to be held in Pueblo since 1984.
