The South-Central League baseball season started off with a bang Tuesday at the Runyon Sports Complex.

South High School and Central combined for 12 of their total 19 runs in the first inning of the Colts' 11-8 S-CL win over the Wildcats on Hobbs Field. Simultaneously on Andenucio, East exploded for 21 hits to hammer Centennial 17-2.
