South Colts win a heart maker while Wasson loses a heartbreaker
For the third straight season, Pueblo South (4-0, 3-1 4A Foothills) defeated Pikes Peak No. 5 Wasson (2-2, 1-2) and gained an advantage in capturing a league title.
Wasson tied the game with 40 seconds left in the game, sending the game to overtime play.
Marinucci hammered in for a 3-yard touchdown with O'Dorisio plowing the extra point in overtime giving #2 Colt a heart making football game 21-20 Thursday the road at Wasson's Garry Berry Stadium.
