The Pig Skin Classic

What a week end for Pueblo High School football. This was one of the most exciting weekend openers I can remember.
This game between the Hornets vs the Cyclones was just as I expected with these two teams going out to that field taking heart soul & rare guts with them and leaving behind not only blood sweat and tears but also memories that will take them in to this season futhermore the rest of their lives.
My hat is off to the Cyclones for pouring on a very good win to start the season and to earn another step forward in the Pig Skin Classic.
Pinkerton said it all."This being a big game, a rivalry game, it takes a lot of heart, a lot of pride, to be able to come out here and do the things we needed to do," Pinkerton said. "
