Broncos execute yet another dramatic escape

8:43 a.m. Broncos linebacker Ian Gold celebrates a missed field goal by Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski in overtime Sunday afternoon at Invesco Field at Mile High. Janikowski made a 52-yard field goal moments earlier, but it was waved off because the Broncos called timeout just before the play. On his next attempt the ball hit the upright and was no good. Broncos kicker Jason Elam's 23-yard kick later in the overtime period was his second game winner in as many weeks. Denver won 23-20 and takes an AFC West-leading 2-0 record into next Sunday’s home game against Jacksonville. Full story
