Prep wrestling notes

Jerry Sisneros, Pueblo South High School's wrestling coach, said Thursday night that Rocky Ford will be competing in the 10th annual Colt Classic Saturday at the SHS gym.
Sisneros said that Rocky Ford was supposed to compete in the La Junta Invitational Saturday in La Junta, but that tournament was canceled because of the heavy snowfall that buried La Junta last week.
Rocky Ford is ranked No. 2 in the state in Class 2A by "On the Mat." The Colt Classic now has a field of 15 teams.
In other action, Dolores Huerta, which ranked No. 10 in Class 2A, meets Pueblo Central in a dual match at 6 p.m. today at Dolores Huerta High School.
